Chanelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who received her Masters in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. She attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois for her undergraduate degree.
Chanelle has extensive experience working with teenagers and college students in a variety of environments. She spent three years with Youth for Christ/Young Life in Germany working with military families and adolescents on an Air Force Base. After returning to the U.S. and receiving her masters degree in counseling, Chanelle worked in a public high school, counseling teens with social anxiety, past trauma, and a multitude of other problems teenagers face. While teens have a special place in her heart, Chanelle enjoys working with all people, no matter their age. She has experience in counseling individuals, couples, families and groups and has facilitated both adult and teen anger management groups as well as a parenting group.
Chanelle uses an eclectic approach to therapy and personalizes treatment based on the client’s individual needs. She is non-judgmental, empathetic and gentle but also straightforward. Chanelle has a passion to walk alongside those struggling so they know they are not alone and she desires for each person to live their life to the fullest.
