Getting Started

Activity-based learning is powerful!  We learn the most from experiences, so new positive experiences to help you relearn or learn something totally new is exactly what we give you.  This is simply known as experiential counseling.

Furthermore, we know that counseling is a personal and intimate matter.  Therefore, we take great strides to protect your confidentiality.  Our therapists have been specifically trained in the above specialities and activities and all have a Masters degree or above.  But more than an experiential counseling session, we also want you to experience our care for you!  We want to meet you where you are at and help you from that point to move forward.  We are dedicated to being attentive to your needs and in all our efforts to showing the utmost grace, compassion, and understanding.

Also, we realize that for many couples traditional therapy doesn’t work as effectively or as quickly as you and your relationship needs.  This is exactly why we have incorporated experiential counseling methods into what we do, so that we can engage all your senses and facilitate the most amount of positive change as possible.  We seek to not only give couples the information and tools they need to progress and be successful, but we also want to give them experiences that stick with them for life and motivate them toward a better future.  Our couples experiential counseling activities incorporate trust-building and communication enhancing exercises, as well as team-building and intimacy increasing events.  (Check out our “About Us” page to read more about the benefits of experiential counseling.)
